UTF-8Transfer of Kinetic Energy between hot and cold particles of same mass Simulation Challenge -- Create an Insulating Wall
The molecules in this simulation are colored according to how much kinetic energy they have. Molecules
with a lot of kinetic energy ones are red -- we call them hot. Cold ones are white.
Between the hot and cold molecules is a rigid barrier made of heavy atoms that bond tightly to
each other. As we saw previously, this barrier allows "heat to flow" from the molecules on the right to
those on the left.
Your Challenge: To build a thermally insulating barrier that will prevent energy to transfer. We need good insulating
barriers for efficient housing and for many industrial applications.
Rules: The barrier has to be made of atoms. You can choose their size, mass, thickness, etc. Be creative and think about
the molecular mechanism by which "heat is transferred."
Explain here your choices and reasoning:

Monitor the graph which shows the average Kinetic Energy/particle for the
gas molecules on the right, the gas molecules on the left, and the atoms in the barrier to s.ee how
successful you are.
