UTF-8An Experiment on a Hydrophobic-Hydrophilic-Mixed Polypeptide255204153Designing Cross-Linking Agents
The following simulation allows you to design different types of cross-linking agents. You may choose atoms or molecules of different types. You may add positive or negative charges to these particles to create ions or dipolar species. You can change the temperature of the system using the slider to the right of the simulation window.
To add a particle, just click on its symbol on the tool bar and then click on the screen. Add positive or negative charge to an atom using the yellow "Charge" buttons on the tool bar (+ and -), and then use the "Copy" tool to duplicate the particle multiple times (select the tool and then click on and drag the object you want to duplicate). You can move any particle to any desired location using the select tool. Use the "Cut" tool to select and remove objects from the screen.
