You will run a series of trials, one right after another, each time
changing the number of molecules of gas and observing how the volume is
affected. The model initially contains 120 molecules. The piston is not in
a fixed position; it can move so as to maintain a constant pressure. The
number on the piston shows the length of the gas chamber. Since this is a
two-dimensional model, what we are calling "volume" of the gas is really
the length of the chamber (in Å).
